Below are all the Forms of Lightsaber Combat, more may be added, and if given special permission from an Admin, and approval from the Staff you may make your own Lightsaber Style, this is a rare case though. In all, a player can only Master up to two of the seven basic forms, that is, unless they were given special permission to start with more. All players in the begginning, will start with form I, Shii-Cho, from there, choosing two other styles to pursue mastering, as well as getting your average training, for the styles which aren't the 2, this is normally a long proccess, and we don't expect characters to master more then 2 of the 7 styles, each style enhances your Lightsaber Combat:

Form I: Shii-Cho, also known as The Way of the Sarlacc, or The Determination Form, was the first of the seven forms of lightsaber combat. This is the basic form, and is most frequently used against multiple opponnents, and under general, or basic conditions. A master of this Style will become a challenge, just like the other Forms.

"It is simple, and simplicity is strength."

Form II: Makashi, also known as The Way of the Ysalamiri, or The Contention Form, was the second form of the seven forms of lightsaber combat. This style is certainly more offensive, and elegant. Proven best when it comes to melee, a great example would be Lightsaber v. Lightsaber, or other weapons of that sort.

"Form II, also called Makashi, represents the ultimate refinement of lightsaber-to-lightsaber combat."

Form III: Soresu, also known as the Way of the Mynock, or The Resilience Form, was the third of the seven forms of lightsaber combat that was recognized by the Jedi Council prior to and during the Clone Wars. This is a very defensive form, it gives the wielder time in long battles, and protects them from multiple opponnents, blasters, and Lightsabers. It lacks a refined offense, but, it makes up for offense in the way of giving you time to observe your opponnent, and striking him or her when the time is right, and when you notice weak spots.

"The smaller blades give you greater speed and maneuverability. Grip the handle lightly in your fingers. Control the weapon with your wrist and hand rather than the muscles of your arm. You will sacrifice reach and leverage, but you will be able to create a shield of impenetrable defense."

Form IV: Ataru, also known as the Way of the Hawk-Bat, or The Aggression Form, was the fourth of the seven forms of lightsaber combat. This was a very aggresive form. Normally all hits were incredibly flexible, and at a fast-pace, mostly effective against a single foe, masters of the form have their ways though, as do all masters. Most of the time it was reinforced with force-acrobatics, such as jumping, and backflipping, and striking above average speed.

"Form IV, also called Ataru, is the most acrobatic Form, filled with numerous elaborate moves, and relies heavily upon a Jedi's ability to run, jump, and spin using the Force."

Form V: Shien / Djem So, also known as The Way of the Krayt Dragon, or The Perseverance Form, was the fifth of seven forms. This technique was developed by masters of Form III: Soresu who felt that the defensively-minded form would unnecessarily extend time spent in combat by forcing its users to wait for an opportunity to strike, rather than creating their own openings. Shien, considered the classical Form V, was more adept at blocking blaster bolts, whereas Djem So, developed later, was designed for lightsaber combat. Both Shien and Djem So were designed to use the opponent's attack against them, as evidenced by Shien's focus on returning blaster bolts to their origin. Many of the Shien/Djem So techniques were used in straightforward tactics, which would repel the enemy, and counter their opponnents, forcing opens upon the opponnent. Shien is dedicated to Blaster deflection and remaining balanced in offense and defense in the midst of combat while Djem So used the same idea but, against Lightsabers.

"You will find it easier to deflect blaster fire with this form—and it shall also guard you against critical strikes by your opponents."

Form VI: Niman, also known as The Way of the Rancor, The Moderation Form, and the diplomat's form, was the sixth form of the seven forms of lightsaber combat. Form VI attempted to balance all elements of lightsaber combat, combining the techniques from Forms that came before into a less intensely demanding combat style. Due to its "jack-of-all-trades" nature, the success of this form was largely dependent on the practitioner's intuition, improvisation, and creativity in combat rather than the rote responses derived from other forms.

"Is Form VI the most worthy of study? No, but in general it is the most practical."

Form VII: Juyo / Vaapad, also known as The Way of the Vornskr, or The Ferocity Form. Form VII was described as the most vicious form of lightsaber combat and was said to involve significant internal focus on the part of the user. As time passed, knowledge of Form VII became less-used among the Jedi Order, who were worried that its precepts would lead practitioners toward the dark side. Mainly this style is used for direct, and powerful movements, and hits on your opponnent. It's a very ruthless style, and requires the user to be ruthless while in combat. The user of this style was supposed to "enjoy the fight" and put "spirit" into the power of each strike.

"I created Vaapad to answer my weakness: it channels my own darkness into a weapon of the light."
