PostSubject: The Ranks in Factions   The Ranks in Factions Icon_minitimeThu Jul 09, 2009 9:18 pm

The Sith Empire
*From lowest rank to highest rank*
1. Sith Acolyte- Sith Acolytes are Force-sensitive apprentices who have only just started down the dark path under the tutelage of a more experienced Sith.

2. Sith Warrior- The Sith Warrior is an experienced Sith who has the average training of the Dark Side, and Lightsaber combat. Normally, they are responsible for training Sith Acolytes unless an apprentice is desired by a Sith Maurauder or Sith Lord. *Choice*

2. Sith Assassin- The Sith Assassin was a special rank, made for those Sith who were uninterested in following the normal flow of ranking. Instead they were initated into the Assassin Corp. of the Sith Empire, led by the Master Assassin. They are closely associated with the Dark Lord or Sith Emperor, and are sent out on the private, or secretive objectives, Assassinations overall. *Special*

3. Sith Marauder- Sith Maurauders lead lesser Sith with an iron fist, using their brutality and authority to dominate their opponnents and allies. Their training emphasized the aggressive use of a lightsaber rather than the Force. A Sith Marauder's berserk physical prowess was a dark side technique fueled by hatred, rage, and cruelty. Thus, most Marauders could duel an average Jedi toe-to-toe and win easily. Caring little for the subtleties of manipulating others and lacking a deep understanding of the Force. *Choice*

3. Sith Lord- Sith Lords use the dark side of the Force to inflict misery, suffering, and corruption. They were also tasked with preserving the lore of the Sith by passing all their knowledge on to their acolytes, or apprentice. While they did not enter combat as often as lesser Sith (preferring to use pawns, servants, or proxies), they were one of the most fearsome of the Sith as they were the keepers of the Sith's greatest secrets and wielders of its most potent sorceries. *Choice*

3. Master Assassin- This rank is a unique one. There is always only one Master Assassin, and he or she is apart of the Sith Council, and is chosen specifically by the Dark Lord/Sith Emperor, normally their loyalties are close to the Sith Emperor/Dark Lord. *If Chosen*

3. Dark Apprentice- The Dark Apprentice was normally chosen by the Dark Lord to be taught under the Dark Lord's personal tutelage. The Dark Apprentice is highly valuable and responsible for carrying out the most dutiful acts. Normally the apprentice worked as the eyes, ears, mouth and sometimes fist of the Dark Lord himself. *If Chosen*

4. Sith Councilor- The Sith Councilor is apart of the Sith Council, the leading body for command over the Empire. It's made up of 4 Councilmen and the Dark Lord, or Sith Emperor himself. They make the decisions, and enroll as the commanders. The requirement for being apart of the Sith Council is being a Sith Lord, the Master Assassin or a Sith Maurauder, as well as extremely powerful and skillful.

5. Dark Lord/Sith Emperor- The Dark Lord of the Sith sometimes referred to as the "Sith Emperor" in this time, had complete control over the Sith Empire under their reign as well as the leading member when it comes to the Sith Council, which is made up of Sith Lords and Sith Maurauders, as well as the Dark Apprentice.

The Jedi Order
*From lowest rank to highest rank*
1. Jedi Padawan- Normally a young Jedi who was apprenticed to a single Jedi Knight or Master. Padawans were chosen by their masters at a young age, and wore a long braid of hair (if their species was capable of growing cranial hair) behind their right ear (if they had ears) to signify their rank.

2. Jedi Knight- A disciplined Padawan could become a fully-trained Jedi once they completed "the trials." The known trials were, but weren't limited to: the Trial of Flesh, the Trial of Courage, the Trial of Skill and the Trial of Self.

3. Jedi Weaponmaster- The Jedi Weaponmaster was instead of normally focused on becoming a Master in the Force, became a master in the arts of combat most frequently used, or associated with the Jedi Order. They are the strongest fighters or duelists the Jedi Order have to offer. *Choice*

3. Jedi Watchmen- The Jedi Watchmen instead of mastering Combat or Force mastery, have managed to balance the two out, very skillfully. Although they aren't able to surpass those ranks which focuse on single training, combat or force, when they combine the two, they are able to surpass even the mightiest of Jedi or Sith, ect... *Choice*

3. Jedi Master- A Jedi Knight who showed great understanding of the Force and managed to instruct a Padawan and train them successfully to the level of a Jedi Knight. This title could also be achieved through the performance of extraordinary deeds. The Jedi Master exceeded greatly with the Mastery of the force above the arts of combat. Many Jedi Master's are known to be incredibly wise, for they have to be very reserved in order to use the Light Side so masterfully. *Choice*

4. Councilor- The Councilor is known to be the greatest of all the Jedi within the Order. A Councilor has alot of experience, and massive capabilities. They lead the Jedi Order wisely, and with power. The Council is made up of 12 Jedi whom have alot of understanding in the Light Side of the Force, and the Jedi Code, following it obediently. The requirement for being a Councilor is having experience as one of the three fields: Jedi Master, Jedi Weaponmaster or Jedi Watchmen.

5. Jedi Grand Master- The Jedi Grand Master is in charge of the Jedi Council, and their decisions. The Jedi Grand Master is also known to be the greatest, or one of the greatest believers in the Light Side, and followers of it, using it masterfully. The Jedi Grand Master also has the most experience normally, and is very wise.

The Republic
*From lowest rank to highest rank*
1. Private- The basic and most disposable rank within the Republic. All members of the Republic, after fulfilling training as recruits became Privates, and actually began to get involved with the military force.

2. Major- The Major enrolled as the experience soldiers, whom were given command over minor squadrants of Privates, using them strategically, or responsibly.

3. Captain- The Captains would lead companies of Privates mixed with Majors, and would be the commanders within the battlefield, sometimes having control over entire outposts leading a squad made up of multiple squads even.

4. Lieutenants- The Lieutenants were made in charge of Outposts and instructed Captains as well as lead regiments of soldiers into battle.

5. Colonels- Colonels normally led an army of soldiers and officers. They had direct communication and consent from the General, and normally advised the General/Admiral when it came to warfare.

6. General/Admiral- The Generals and Admirals lead entire campaigns, and hold the glory of the Republic's military. They have alot of the authority, and practically all of it when it comes to war, and leading their forces, and allies into battle. All subordinates, in-battle must follow their General/Admiral's command.

7. Minister of War- The Minister of War leads the Board of General's and Admiral's and normally decides where to strike, how to do so, ect... With the addition of the General's and Admiral's enforcing it, or modifying it. The Minister of War is also closely associated to the Supreme Chancellor.

8. Supreme Chancellor- The Supreme Chancellor is in charge of the entire Republic, and is the chief diplomat of the Republic and its command. The Supreme Chancellor is also the Commander-In-Chief of the Republic's military.

Bounty Hunters:
*From lowest class to highest class*
1. 5th Class Bounty Hunter- In general, a 5th Class Bounty Hunter is a 'noob' to his trade, or, at least that is how he/she is depicted by the beings of multiple worlds, and organizations as well as orders. You are barely notorious, or looked at as a threat in this class.
2. 4th Class Bounty Hunter- You become a little more well-known, and others look at you more capably.
3. 3rd Class Bounty Hunter- Now it is an average thing in everyday to be hired by at least someone, you have become quite popular, and others feel you are still rising.
4. 2nd Class Bounty Hunter- You appear very capable of your trade, and others truly desire to hire you, stay away from you, or learn more about you. You are officially notorious, and still rising amongst the Galaxy.
5. 1st Class Bounty Hunter- A 1st Class Bounty Hunter is known by all throughout the entire Galaxy. You are recognized strongly as one who gets the job done, and who is capable against any opponnent. Practically every faction, gang, ect... Will be seeking you out for a job. You are highly notorious.

Gray Jedi & Dark Jedi:
*From lowest class to highest class*
1. E Class- When you're labeled E-Class, you are not known much at all... Normally you are only a match for the lower ranking members of any faction. And, you have no popularity, infamy, ect... People in general, look down upon you in a challenge, ect.
2. D Class- You have gained some Reputation, or Infamy from certain Worlds, but, you still don't seem fierce, or worth a challenge. This could simply be an illusion though.
3. C Class- You are officially known as skillful, and capable of defending, or offending from yourself. Some may start challenging you, you could match up to a Sith Warrior, or a Jedi Knight, fair-enough.
4. B Class- You have a good sense of the Force, and your skills have increased further. Your Lightsaber Combat is also skillful, and some of the Higher Ranks such as Sith Maurauders, and Sith Lords or Jedi Masters, Jedi Weaponmasters or Jedi Watchmen. Your reputation is spanning, and you've slowly become more popular throughout the Galaxy.
5. A Class- Now you're well-known. Your skills with the force or the Lightsaber, perhaps both are capable of attracting the attenttion of the Jedi and Sith Council, you can match your skills evenly with almost any Jedi, and you've proven to be fierce, or graceful to others. No one looks down on you, only the bold.
6. S Class- When you're S-Class you are highly well-known as a wondering, and powerful Jedi whom alot of people are unwilling to challenge. You have become a threat for the Factions of the Era, and normally there will be many obstacles at this point. Many will become curious of your history, others may run in fear of you. Also, your mastery of the Force, or Lightsaber Combat is incredibly high, and skillful, known by all other Jedi.

NOTE: Anything labeled *Choice* means that the player may choose, when given the oppurtunnity to become one superior rank, or another. If something is labeled *If Chosen* that means only the leading body of that rank, may choose who holds that rank. Of course, ranking up will be decided by the Forum Staff. Anything labled *Special* means that you may apply for that class within that Faction, but, it's not associated as relatively with the main flow of that faction.
